Vintage Cast Iron Trick Dog Mechanical Bank – Hand-Painted Circus Clown & Barrel Coin Bank in Very Good condition, see photos. Add classic Americana charm to your collection with this vintage-style "Trick Dog" cast iron mechanical coin bank. Featuring a brightly painted circus clown overseeing a trained black dog leaping toward a coin barrel, this piece captures the timeless amusement of late 19th-century carnival novelties. Built from heavy cast iron with bold red, green, and gold polychrome accents, the bank is actuated by placing a coin in the dog’s mouth and releasing the lever mechanism, sending the pup over the barrel to deposit savings. The underside features a perforated grid pattern alongside the original coin trap plug. Note: The small handheld circus hoop is not present. It makes a fantastic display centerpiece for folk art collectors, shelf decor enthusiasts, and mechanical toy aficionados alike.
