Description
2009 Lincoln Cent Series Uncirculated, see photos. This complete 8-coin uncirculated set commemorates the bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birth and the 100th anniversary of the Lincoln cent. Issued by the United States Mint in 2009, the collection features brilliant uncirculated strikes from both the Philadelphia (no mint mark) and Denver ('D' mint mark) facilities. The four reverse designs trace Lincoln’s life journey: his Birthplace in Kentucky (log cabin), his Formative Years in Indiana (reading while resting on a log), his Professional Life in Illinois (standing before the State Capitol), and his Presidency in Washington, D.C. (the half-finished Capitol dome). Each coin is individually housed in a 2x2 cardboard flip with clear protective windows, clearly labeled by design and mint mark, and organized within a multi-pocket vinyl binder sleeve alongside an informational descriptive header card.
