Description

1930 Wheat Penny Coin in Fine condition, some wear consistent with age, see photos.  This vintage 1930 Lincoln Wheat Penny is preserved in a classic cardboard coin flip. Struck during the onset of the Great Depression, this copper cent features Victor David Brenner’s iconic right-facing profile of Abraham Lincoln on the obverse, accompanied by the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” and the year 1930 (minted in Philadelphia, indicated by the absence of a mint mark). The reverse displays the beloved twin ears of durum wheat flanking the central inscriptions “ONE CENT” and “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” topped with “E PLURIBUS UNUM.” Showing honest, natural circulation wear and a deep, aged copper patina, it stands as an authentic and nostalgic piece of early 20th-century American numismatic history.
