Description

1901 U.S. Coin V Nickel Fair condition, see photos. The 1901 Liberty Head "V" Nickel stands as a classic workhorse of turn-of-the-century American commerce, serving as a vital piece of pocket change during a period of massive industrial expansion. Designed by legendary Chief Engraver Charles E. Barber, the obverse features a left-facing portrait of Lady Liberty adorned with a coronet and surrounded by 13 stars, while the reverse prominently displays the Roman numeral "V" inside a wreath of wheat, cotton, and corn. Struck exclusively at the Philadelphia Mint.
