Moses Malone 76ers Basketball Card 1994 No. 389 in Near Mint Condition, See Photos. Moses Malone's arrival in Philadelphia in 1982 marked a pivotal moment for the 76ers franchise, transforming them into an NBA powerhouse. In his first season with the team (1982-1983), alongside Julius Erving, Maurice Cheeks, and Bobby Jones, Malone led the 76ers to an iconic NBA Championship. His dominance was undeniable, as he was named the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) for the regular season, his third career MVP award but first with the Sixers, and also earned the NBA Finals MVP trophy. Famous for his "Fo, Fo, Fo" prediction for the playoff rounds (though they ultimately went Fo, Fi, Fo, losing one game), Malone's relentless rebounding, scoring prowess, and imposing interior presence were the driving forces behind the team's success. During his initial four-year tenure with the 76ers (1982-1986), he was an All-Star each season and consistently ranked among the league leaders in scoring and rebounding, leaving an enduring legacy as the cornerstone of one of the most formidable teams in NBA history. He later returned for a brief second stint with the 76ers in the 1993-1994 season.
