1986-S Proof American Silver Eagle 1 oz .999 Fine Silver Dollar with Original Box & COA ... Own a piece of modern numismatic history with this inaugural-year 1986-S Proof American Silver Eagle. Struck at the San Francisco Mint in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, 1986 marks the very first release of the U.S. Mint's world-renowned Silver Eagle program. The obverse showcases Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic Walking Liberty design bathed in brilliant frosted relief, sharply contrasted against deep, reflective mirror fields. This historic key-date collector piece comes preserved in its original clear protective capsule, housed inside the official U.S. Mint purple velvet display case with original paperwork. A cornerstone addition for serious bullion investors and coin collectors alike.
